Sat, April 27, 10am-3pm: Arbor Day Festival at Swarthmore College’s Scott Arboretum, 500 College Ave in Swarthmore. Enjoy a fun filled day learning about trees with a free tree for each family to take home and plant. Then, join Professor McHenry of Widener and Coach Dave of Nature Under Your Nose for 1pm lunch and further activities. No registration required. Free transportation available upon request.

Fri, May 3, 3-5pm: Free basketball clinic and pizza with Lafayette College basketball players at Chester Boys & Girls Club, 201 E 7th St. in Chester.

Sat, May 4: CUSD Spring Summit at Widener University

Wed, May 8, 4-8pm: “Delco Gives, Chester Creates” Block Party on the 400-500 block of Avenue of the States, featuring street soccer, live entertainment, a magic show and other free family fun.

Sat, May 11, 11am-1pm: Free dance class followed by lunch at Widener University Center on E14th St, between Walnut and Melrose in Chester (There is a parking lot and street parking near the building. To avoid getting a ticket, please request a free visitor parking permit at https://widener.arms.app/Parking/Login.aspx .) Dance studio is downstairs at the back of the building.

Wed, May 15, 3-6pm: “Make and Take” flower crafts at Peony Palooza at Swarthmore College’s Scott Arboretum, 500 College Ave in Swarthmore. No registration required. Free transportation available upon request.

Sat, May 18, 9:30am -12:30pm: Free tennis clinic at Chester Park 298 E. Elkington Blvd in Chester. Please complete this form to register.

Sat, May 18, 3-5pm: "Art and Science" Nature Walk at Taylor Arboretum, 10 Ridley Dr in Wallingford, led by Widener University's Nadine McHenry and Coach Dave of Nature Under Your Nose. Includes lunch. (Raindate April 27.)

Sun, May 19, 1-4pm: Chester Riverfest at Subaru Park in Chester. Free giveaways, fun and games including soccer.
